Our Mission

We seek to be a worshipful community, firmly rooted in teaching from the scriptures and open to the movement of the Holy Spirit. We are a Christ-centred community, seeking to help all kinds of people, regardless of vulnerabilities, to take steps on their spiritual journey in all we do.

Our Vision

Is that we will be a highly visible, hospitable, outward looking, Christ centred church in worship where every member is involved in welcoming and nurturing a prayerful, diverse, multi-generational congregation, growing in faith and practising Biblical gifts in accordance with 1 Corinthians 12 while exhibiting the Fruit of the Spirit. We will be a sought-after church providing sustainable Christian based activities both physical and virtual. We will work collaboratively with other churches and Christian organisations.

The 6 “P”s 

1. Presence – To be fully alive is to be present: present to our own self, to others, to the world and to God.In Mark’s Gospel Jesus called the apostles that they might ‘be with him.’ (3:14)

2. Practice – We are changed and transformed through practices, spiritual and otherwise. Jesus sent his disciples out to ‘practise’ the things of the kingdom, ‘that he might send them out…’ (Mark 3:14)

3. Participate – Our life is on hold if we just sit on the sidelines and don’t get involved. Jesus invited his disciples to participate in his work, he said to them, ”You give them something to eat.’ (Mark 6:37).

4. Perception – Learning to see clearly through paying attention and learning awareness is at the heart of the truly lived life. Jesus called his disciples to perceptive faith, ‘Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop…’ (Mark 4:20).

5. Play – We want to release the creativity gifted to all of us, in a multitude of ways.

6. Prayer – Practise the presence of God in prayer.’ Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.’ (Mark 1:35)
